OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We operate exclusively on the basis of the German Freight Forwarders’ Standard Terms and Conditions 2017 (ADSp 2017). Clause 23 of the ADSp 2017 further limits the statutory liability for loss of or damage to goods, which under Section 431 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) is limited to 8.33 SDR per kilogram, to EUR 1.25 million per claim or EUR 2.5 million per event, or 2 SDR per kilogram, whichever amount is higher. For multimodal transport involving sea carriage, the liability limit is generally 2 SDR per kilogram. The ADSp 2017 are available on our website and will be provided upon request.
Our foreign branches and subsidiaries operate in accordance with the applicable local laws and regulations of the respective countries.
The place of jurisdiction and place of performance shall be Hamburg, Germany.
Freight forwarders’ liability insurance is underwritten by W. Droege & Co. GmbH & Co. KG.
